Elena Ezquerra is a Hydrogen & Renewable Energy Analyst at Solas Energy Consulting. She leads the Emerging Technologies Team, which includes developing models for and analyzing technologies such as hydrogen, grid modernization, and energy storage. Elena has a Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, where her research was on developing hydrogen fuel cells. And a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering specializing in Renewable Energy. She is passionate about renewable energies and sustainability. She has more than five years of experience in research, innovation, project development, and numerical modelling of clean technologies, focusing on hydrogen production, utilization, and fuel cells. Elena believes that hydrogen will play a key role in developing the clean energy sector, which is integral to our planet’s transition to a more sustainable future. With her knowledge and experience, she is looking forward to supporting the development of hydrogen economies.
